We’re excited to share our experience at the World Out of Home Organization (WOO) 2023 Bali event. From November 1st to 3rd. The Moving Walls Group played a significant role in this special gathering of industry leaders, encouraging collaboration and innovation in out-of-home (OOH) advertising with a special focus on APAC, which is the industry’s largest and fastest-growing region.
Our booth was a mix of Bali’s traditional attire, featuring a vibrant batik backdrop with Moving Walls, LMX, and Moving Hearts logos. It wasn’t just visually appealing, it created an immersive experience for attendees. We even had a popcorn stall, inviting everyone to enjoy classic treats while exploring what we had to offer.
More than 350 delegates joined for insightful discussions on the evolving landscape of out-of-home advertising. Sustainability took centre stage, with WOO initiatives and a dedicated Sustainability Task Force leading towards a more responsible industry.
A key highlight was Mr. Srikanth Ramachandran, Founder, and Group CEO of MW, leading a panel session during the second APAC Regional Forum. Focusing on “Making OOH Easier to Buy through Automation & Programmatic.”
Srikanth focussed on the need to look at automation holistically – beyond programmatic – and the need for media owners to transform themselves completely to enable automation that is in their control.
As we celebrate the success of the Bali Forum, we eagerly look forward to future WOO events. The first in-person Africa Forum in March 2024 and the Global Congress in Hong Kong in June 2024 are on the horizon, reflecting the industry’s enthusiasm for face-to-face meetings as out-of-home advertising recovers from the challenges of lockdown.
