Data Product Manager

Position Overview:

As a Data Product Manager at Moving Walls, you will oversee the development of various audience planning and measurement features for our ad tech platform from conception to launch. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders including the platform owner, business owner, delivery team, sales representatives, and the engineering team placed in multiple markets in the world. You will design, build and manage the cross-functional development of a data platform, or a suite of specific data tools, to serve multiple customers.


– As the Data Product Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the data platform’s product backlog including product requirements documents, user stories, user flows, and acceptance criteria

– You will define the product strategy and direction for for the group’s data analytics, data knowledge, and data science platforms

– You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to discover new feature opportunities and prioritise development

– You will map out data personas and consumer profiles of those who will be using specific features like campaign planning, measurement, attribution, and so on

– The Data Product Manager develops and runs planning events, such as backlog refinements, retrospectives, and feature release demos

– You will be the subject matter expert for the product you are managing and competitor intelligence, industry trends, key differentiators, and more will be at your fingertips.

– You will communicate product updates, timelines, and milestones to stakeholders across the organization


– Able to understand the audience targeted by our company in general and identify the various opportunities for data products or features that will improve platform stickiness

– Experienced at leading cross-functional teams who deliver on similar objectives

– Passionate about delivering incredible product experiences

– Having strong written and verbal communication skills so that user stories and other product documents are clearly understood

– Having 3+ years of experience as a Data Product Manager or roles such as back-end engineering, traditional B2B product management, internal product management, or Data analysis

– Having a strong technical background in the Data world (ETLs, SQL, reporting tools)

– Proficient in identifying, tracking and acting upon metrics, designing tests, and collaborating with external data partners
