Location Media Xchange (LMX), a well-known enterprise software solution catering to Out-of-Home (OOH) media owners and a division of the Moving Walls Group, has announced a relationship with Up Media, Thailand’s leading elevator Digital Out of Home (DOOH) media proprietor.
This strategic partnership brings over 700 screens into LMX’s programmatic DOOH network in Thailand, bolstering the company’s position as Asia’s largest DOOH marketplace.
Up Media, known as a significant figure in lift media in Thailand, strives to be the dominant provider of lift media throughout ASEAN, including shopping malls, residential complexes, and business towers. This purpose is perfectly aligned with the Moving Walls Group, which is based in Singapore and has a physical presence in all ASEAN regions.
Furthermore, the agreement broadens the reach of Moving Hearts, a platform that connects charities and community organizations with last-minute OOH media slots in an automatic manner. This program has improved communication for many charity partners, including In Youths United for Earth (YUFE), Dementia Singapore, Sokong, Breast Cancer Foundation, The Safe Space Foundation, Saigon Children, and Simply Giving, among others.
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Moving Hearts launched a Healthy Malaysia campaign that included breast cancer tests via scannable QR codes on digital displays, as well as a message highlighting the need for early detection.
Jan Harling, CEO of Virtus Asia Consulting, which consults Up Media, emphasizes the importance of cooperation with LMX. “The widespread deployment of programmatic DOOH by Up Media across premium venues like retail malls, posh residences, and office buildings in Thailand has enormous promise for brands and agencies looking for a new and powerful media route. Our relationship with LMX promises to be an exciting gateway, allowing a broader range of partners to reach premium audiences in unique places. We look forward to expanding this partnership.
“We are delighted to embark on this partnership with Up Media, a digital-first media proprietor quick to embrace emerging technology,” stated Srikanth Ramachandran, Founder and Group CEO of Moving Walls. “This collaboration transcends merely enhancing brand experiences; it amplifies positive community messages through Moving Hearts, already operational in India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam.”
